Echo Server — a service that quietly keeps your message
When you go through the conversational popup flow, we collect the following: your email address (for verification), the email address of the person you wish to reach, and the message you wrote together with the softened version Echo prepares. None of this is saved to our server unless you complete the flow.
The information is used for four purposes only: account verification and sign-in, holding the message you entrusted to us, passing it on to the recipient when the conditions you agreed to are met, and notifying you if the recipient ever replies.
Pending accounts whose email is not verified within three days are deleted automatically. Verified accounts remain until you choose to close them. Email verification tokens last three days; one-time sign-in links last ten minutes.
We do not share your information with third parties as a rule. The one exception is that, while preparing the softened version of your message, the text is sent to an LLM provider (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI) — only for the purpose of shaping the wording.
You can sign in at any time to review what we hold for you, and if you close your account all stored data is removed. Edits and deletions can be made from your account's management screen.
For privacy-related questions please email the service operator. The address is listed on the site's information page.
